Ossetra caviar is the most popular and classic caviar and it is one of the most appreciated by connoisseurs. The eggs are big in size (about 3.0 – 3.5 mm. ) and their colour varies in shades ranging from black, grey, amber to brown. It has accentuated notes of nuts, especially walnuts. 

Caviar tastes best at a temperature between 10 and 12º C, since it allows all the aromas, flavours and aftertastes to be perceived and experienced, while maintaining its structured texture. Keep caviar in tin to avoid excessive handling. Avoid metal containers and rest on a cold base.

For perfect condition, store or transport between -2 and +2º C, until the moment of consumption. Once opened, consume caviar within max. 3-4 days. Accompany Bulgarian Sturgeon Caviar with a very cold glass of champagne for a culinary delight.
